The reporter learned today (14th) that from January to September 2026, my country took the lead in the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission in formulating 220 international standards such as the top-level framework for smart city data utilization and the guidelines for intelligent manufacturing in the steel industry, and proposed 318 new international standard proposals such as solid-state batteries and humanoid robot data sets.Up to now, my country has taken the lead and issued a total of 2,368 international standards and proposed a total of 4,079 international proposals. The international influence of standardization continues to increase.
Currently, our country has launched 100 pilot projects for the overseas application of Chinese standards.According to preliminary statistics, more than 3,300 Chinese standards have been promoted for overseas undertaking projects and investment projects, covering all aspects of design, construction, testing, acceptance, and operation.Among them, substantial breakthroughs have been made in the territorial transformation of standards. 347 Chinese standards have been transformed into territorial country standards or technical documents, and some standards have achieved mutual recognition, playing an important leading role in improving project quality and promoting economic and trade exchanges in countries jointly building the "Belt and Road".
In recent years, my country has actively promoted the transformation of advanced technological experience and practical results into international standards, aligned with global industrial development needs, and deepened standard coordination with other countries in the fields of digital technology, new energy, and high-end equipment.In the next step, my country will continue to uphold the concept of open cooperation and win-win, actively promote the formulation of international standards, expand the overseas application scope of Chinese standards, and provide standard support for the stable and smooth global industrial and supply chains and the standardized and orderly development of emerging industries.
