Xinhua News Agency, Lhasa, January 29 (Reporters Luo Deng, Gesang Langjie, Luo Zhuo Gyatso) The twilight is gathering, and the mountains in the distance are gradually hazy, with stars reflecting the Pengqu River Valley.
In the Yejiang Village resettlement site, wisps of smoke rose and the lights flashed. Old Mima and her family ushered in a special "ancient exclamation" night.
On the 28th, on the New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year, when thousands of families around the country are reunited, the resettlement site of Yejiang Village, Dingri County, Tibet, on the southwestern border, also ushered in the "Ancient Turbulence" night of the Shigatse Farmers' New Year.
In Tibetan, the "gutu" in "gutu" means nine, and "tu" means pasta, which is a Tibetan noodle porridge. There are nine ingredients including beef, mutton, ginseng fruit, and milk residue. According to custom, every household eats "ancient excrement" to show the old and welcome the new.
"Cooked, come in and eat 'Gutu'." Walking into Mima's prefabricated house, a Tibetan-style door curtain separates two views: outside the house, the wind is cold and the yellow sand is rolling; inside the house, the fire is strong and the warmth is warm.
67-year-old Mima sat upright by the bed, with her hair tied up with red silk thread wrapped around the tip of the braid - a typical dress for a man in Dingri. Next to him is his wife Deqing, who is 72 years old this year.

This Dingri earthquake, Mima's family is in good health. "I didn't expect to be able to eat 'Gutu'."
On January 7, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Dingri County. Due to the timely emergency shelter, no one in the village was injured, but many houses were damaged.
"The house is gone, and all I can think about at that time was how to survive this winter." Mima did not expect that his worries would be dispelled soon.
After the earthquake, party committees and governments at all levels and rescue forces from all parties rushed to the rescue, and the affected people in Yejiang Village were properly resettled and the materials were abundant. On the 11th, 385 people affected by 76 households in Yejiang Village moved into prefabricated houses.
"The cookware used to cook 'gutu' is all cut out from the ruins." The daughter-in-law Bazhen handed the "gutu" to Mima, pointed to the supplies in the board room and said, "We have found Tibetan wooden beds, cooking utensils, jewelry, and also received a lot of new supplies." Mima sat upright on the wooden bed, held up a wooden bowl and ate the "gutu". The young man surrounded the fire and took a spoon, and the children played around their knees, enjoying themselves.

During the interview, Mima received a video call on her mobile phone.
"Grandpa, have you eaten 'Gutu'?"
"I've eaten it, you see, there's a lot of meat and it's delicious. Don't worry, it's okay."
Mima pointed her phone at her family, and her granddaughter Awang Ram, who was studying in Shandong, greeted her New Year one by one.
"Since the earthquake, my granddaughter has made video calls at least once a day." Mima said proudly: "Now there is some water, electricity and network. I told her that there is nothing to worry about." Her husband Deqing said, "The only thing I worry about now is that there are too many supplies and I can't put them in the prefabricated room. The cow dung is enough to burn for one or two months."
The funny words of the old man Deqing caused laughter in the prefabricated room.
Mima's son Ciwang Renzeng said: "After the New Year, winter is almost over. At that time, I will still have to take care of 17 acres of land at home."

"When spring plows the land, we ordinary people will jump up again in the Ding Ri 'Luoxi'." Old Mima is open-minded by nature.
Dingri "Luoxi" has a 600-year-old history. Its tune is simple and its dance moves are free and easy. The rhythm is sometimes slow and gentle, and sometimes passionate and unrestrained.
Just like the relaxed rhythm of "Luo Xie", the lives of the people in the disaster area gradually improved after being in a low state. They were in panic and grief because of the earthquake. Now, they will usher in another spring.
It's already late at night, and the "Ancient Tu" night is quiet and quiet. Bands of light shone out from the windows of the old man Mima's boardroom. The Chinese knots and lanterns hanging on the door flickered under the light, and the New Year atmosphere was strong.
Looking up at the distance, the sky was full of stars, as if illuminating the way forward for the people in the disaster area...
