This project is an important part of the 750 kV transmission and transformation project in the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang. It can effectively meet local electricity consumption needs and the electrification and transformation needs of Heruo Railways, and help the new energy power in Hotan area be connected to the grid and consumed.
The reporter learned from State Grid Xinjiang Power Co., Ltd. that the Hotan-Minfeng 750 kV transmission and transformation project started from the Hotan 750 kV substation that had been built and ended at the new Minfeng 750 kV substation. The total investment of the project is 1.69887 billion yuan, and the new line is 283.853 kilometers. The project route passes through mountainous areas, Gobi and deserts, with complex terrain and landforms, of which the 40-kilometer line passes through the remnants of Kunlun Mountain.
This project is a key project for the peak summer of the State Grid, which can meet the normal daily electricity consumption of about 2 million households. The Minfeng-Qimei and Qiemei-Ruoqiang 750 kV transmission and transformation project is planned to be completed this year. At that time, the 750 kV transmission and transformation project in the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang will be operated in the ring network.
