People's Daily Nanning, April 4 (Reporter Pang Geping) The reporter recently learned from China Railway Nanning Bureau Group Co., Ltd.: In the first quarter of this year, the railway-sea intermodal train transported 345,200 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 68.2%, an increase of 9.8 percentage points from the first two months of this year, and the growth rate further accelerated. As of March 21, the total cargo transported by train this year exceeded 300,000 TEUs, 51 days earlier than last year.
Since this year, relying on the new Western Land-Sea Corridor, ASEAN products such as Cambodian rice, Thai perfume coconut have been continuously shipped to the country, enriching people's dining tables; domestic specialty products are also sold overseas. Domestic cars in the western region are sent to the Middle East through the connection method of "rail JSQ vehicles (rail car for transporting complete vehicles) + sea roll-and-roll ships" in the new western land-sea channel, providing a safe, efficient, convenient and economical transportation solution for my country's automobile exports.
