In the early morning of June 1, 2024, he received a police report of someone hurting someone with a knife, and immediately led the team to chase the rental house where the suspect was hiding. The suspect held a sharp blade about 60 cm long and refused to be arrested. At that moment of life and death, Qiu Jianjun stepped forward and blocked his colleagues behind him.

In the small rental house, Qiu Jianjun did not choose to shoot because he was worried about hurting his comrades and the suspect's mother. In a desperate battle with the suspect who had lost his mind, Qiu Jianjun was seriously injured and died heroically after failed rescue in the hospital.

In his 30 years as a police officer, Qiu Jianjun has participated in cracking more than 1,800 criminal cases of various types, including more than 200 major cases such as intentional homicide and robbery. It has long become his instinct.

After his death, Qiu Jianjun was rated as a martyr and posthumously awarded the title of "National First-Class Hero Model of Public Security System". Recently, the release ceremony of Qiu Jianjun's advanced deeds was held in Wuhan.

Xu Yunruo was a first-level police officer of the urban squadron of the Wuzhong Branch of the Public Security Bureau of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. On November 5, 2024, at an intersection in Changqiao Street, Suzhou, he was hit by a driver who refused to cooperate with law enforcement and was seriously injured. After failed rescue, he unfortunately died in the line of duty. He was 55 years old at the time.

After 32 years of traffic police career, more than 10,000 days of morning and evening rush hour, and too many sleepless nights that were still enforcing the law in the early morning, he all performed his duties loyally and silently protected the safety of people's travel.
