Announcement on suspending the import of two American poultry companies in China
Recently, my country's customs has repeatedly detected the statutory banned drug furacillin in imported American chicken products. In order to protect consumers' health and safety, in accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and its Implementation Regulations, the "Regulations on the Management of Import and Export Food Safety of the People's Republic of China" and other relevant provisions, the General Administration of Customs decided to suspend the import of poultry products of Mountaire Farms of Delaware, Inc. (registered in China is CUSA01052002200244), Coastal Processing, LLC (registered in China is CUSA01051912250083) and other companies from the date of this announcement.
