Recently, China's customs detected the banned drug furacillin in three batches of U.S. chicken products, involving two poultry meat manufacturers (Mountaire Farms of Delaware, Inc. and Coastal Processing, LLC). In order to prevent food safety risks from the source, in accordance with relevant Chinese laws and regulations and international standards, the General Administration of Customs decided to suspend the import of products from the above two poultry meat companies from China from April 4, 2025.
