The identities of eight martyrs including Cao Yunchang and Xu Siyuan were confirmed.
According to reports, in recent years, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs has established a martyr's remains search and identification center, established a national martyr's remains DNA identification laboratory, and rely on the laboratory to gradually improve the national martyr's remains DNA database and martyr's relatives DNA database, and concentrate on the research and development of key identification technologies. Up to now, my country has welcomed back 11 consecutive years of 11 consecutive years to the remains of 981 Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea, and confirmed their identities for 28 of them and found their relatives.
