CCTV News: According to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the first two months of 2025, my country's software and information technology service industry (hereinafter referred to as "software industry") had a good operating trend, the growth rate of software business revenue was stable, the total profits resumed double-digit growth, and the growth rate of software business exports was the same as the same period last year.

1. Overall operation status

The growth rate of software business revenue is stable. In the first two months, my country's software business revenue was 1896.5 billion yuan, an increase of 9.9% year-on-year.

Total profits resumed double-digit growth. In the first two months, the total profit of the software industry was 232.8 billion yuan, an increase of 10.7% year-on-year.

The export growth rate of software business has declined slightly. In the first two months, software business exports were US$8.03 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%.

2. Operation status of sectors

Software product revenue has grown steadily. In the first two months, software product revenue was 425.3 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3% year-on-year. Among them, industrial software products revenue was 44.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%; basic software products revenue was 27.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%. Information technology service revenue maintained double-digit growth. In the first two months, information technology service revenue was 1258.5 billion yuan, an increase of 10.3% year-on-year. Among them, cloud computing big data services increased by 8.8% year-on-year; integrated circuit design increased by 13.5% year-on-year.

The growth rate of revenue from information security products and services has increased slightly. In the first two months, information security products and services revenue was 39.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%.

Embedded system software revenue has grown steadily. In the first two months, embedded system software revenue was 173.5 billion yuan, an increase of 11.9% year-on-year.

3. Operation status by region

In the first two months, the eastern region, central region, western region and northeastern region increased by 9.8%, 10.9%, 9.8% and 10% year-on-year respectively. The eastern region accounts for 85.1% of the total national software business revenue. The software business revenue in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region increased by 10.8% year-on-year, and the software business revenue in the Yangtze River Delta region increased by 10.4% year-on-year. Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong and Shanghai ranked among the top 5 in the country in terms of revenue, with year-on-year growth of 10.6%, 6.5%, 9.7%, 12.2% and 14.1% respectively.
