They appointed Xi Yanchun (female) as the deputy president of Xinhua News Agency.

Public information shows that Xi Yanchun was born in Shandong in March 1973, with a bachelor's degree in English from Shandong Normal University, a double bachelor's degree in Diplomacy, and a master's degree in English Language and Literature.
Xi Yanchun has served as deputy director of the Research Department of the Information Bureau of the State Information Office and director of the Information Department, the first secretary of the News and Public Diplomacy Department of the Chinese Embassy in the United States, deputy director of the News Bureau of the State Information Office, and deputy director of the Foreign News Bureau of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee.
In 2020, Xi Yanchun was transferred to Shandong, and successively served as deputy director of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department and deputy director of the Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department in charge of daily work. He also served as director of the Shandong Provincial Civilization Office and director of the Provincial News Office.
