Recently, the "Planting Hope Fields Together, Rice Fragrance Composition New Chapter" and Tangxi Town's 2025 spring plowing preparation and high-quality rice selection activities were launched in Paixi Tong Village. Through concentrated signing, ploughing ceremony, rice bowl competition, rice food market and other links, it promotes the smooth development of agricultural production, promotes the quality and efficiency improvement of agricultural industries, and plays the spring prelude of rural revitalization.

Along with the beautiful melody of the "Tangxi Ten Scenerys" tourism promotion song "Come for You", the Tangxi rural revitalization theme event "Spring breeze blows on Tangxi and prepares for farming and opening new fields" officially opened. A centralized signing ceremony was held on site. Jinhua Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Xinfa Grain Professional Cooperative Union, Jinhua Heyuan Seed Technology Development Co., Ltd., Rujun Family Farm, Jinhua Huashu Radio and Television Network Co., Ltd. and Zhongdai Information Technology Service Co., Ltd. respectively signed cooperation agreements. The two parties will deepen cooperation in areas such as science and technology assistance, scientific farming, and agricultural sales, inject new impetus into Tangxi agriculture.

Yang Jianwen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tangxi Town, announced the start of the ploughing ceremony. Under the witness of agricultural departments, large grain growers, representatives of agricultural enterprises and villagers and tourists on the scene, several drones and aircraft models took off, and agricultural machinery and equipment such as tractors and rice transplanters started to enter the fields. The roar of machinery and the cheers of the crowd were intertwined. The empowerment of science and technology has brought earth-shaking changes to traditional agricultural farming, showing the vigorous vitality of Tangxi's modern agriculture.

Good mountains and rivers produce good rice. In order to further expand the brand influence of "Tangxi Rice", cultivate the cultural foundation of "Ten Thousand Years of Rice, Tangxi Seeds", and promote the quality and efficiency improvement of the agricultural industry, the Tangxi Rice Competition and Rice Industry Exhibition Evaluation Conference were also held in the second phase of the event. 21 local grain-growing experts brought their own high-quality rice to compete on the same stage. The on-site judges tasted and scored through observation of the appearance, on-site tasting and other aspects, and finally selected 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 5 bronze medals in the competition.

We will also grow grain carefully, continuously improve the cultivation technology and rice quality, and help promote the fragrance of Tangxi rice to spread across the country." Xiong Weihua, a representative of the grain grower and the secretary of the Party Branch of Paixi Tong Village, said confidently.

At the same time, the rural rice food market on the trail "Taste the Soup Stream in Spring" also opened lively. The market not only includes traditional rice dishes such as dumplings, fried rice cakes, rice dumplings, and hair cakes, but also displays of traditional intangible cultural heritage such as sugar paintings, paper cutting, dough sculptures, and straw hat weaving. A pig-killing vegetable banquet was also prepared on site, and villagers and tourists shared the delicious spring food. On the day of the event, a 5-kilometer Houdaxi Resolution Tour was also held. The cadres and staff walked along the beautiful Houdaxi Greenway to immerse themselves in the beauty of Jinxi's ecology and explore the cultural heritage of farming.
