On March 31, more than 40 representatives of companies from Ningbo, Zhejiang set off from Ningbo and flew directly to Hungary, intending to seize the Central and Eastern Europe and expand the European market.

Many corporate leaders carried their products with them.

Liang Zhenyu has many companies that have started with products, and some even brought patent certificates, hoping to gain the trust of the Central and Eastern European markets.

It is understood that Ningbo organizes more than 40 domestic and foreign trade, industrial manufacturing and logistics service enterprises, accounting for half of the Chinese participating enterprises, and will carry out extensive economic and trade exchanges with more than 80 Hungary enterprises and institutions. In the early stage of the docking meeting, the two countries had conducted preliminary exchanges and matched the corresponding enterprises to increase the success rate of cooperation between the two sides.

Fe Jianming, a first-level researcher at the Foreign Trade Promotion Department of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, introduced that the first type is domestic and foreign trade enterprises, mainly opening up markets. The second type is mainly manufacturing enterprises, which are understood from the perspective of diversified supply chains. They hope to promote their products to the European market through Hungary, Central and Eastern Europe. The third category is logistics service enterprises.

As the first demonstration zone for economic and trade cooperation in China-Central and Eastern European countries, Ningbo's total import and export volume to Central and Eastern European countries has reached an average annual growth rate of 17.2% since its unveiling in 2018. In the first two months of 2025, the total import and export volume of Ningbo and Central and Eastern European countries exceeded 10 billion for the first time in the same period of history, reaching 10.2 billion yuan, an increase of 15.3% year-on-year.
