CCTV News: According to the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in order to give full play to the service and guarantee role of agricultural law enforcement in the central work of the "Three Rural Issues" and consolidate the foundation of national food security, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently issued the "Notice of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Carrying out the "Green Sword Grain Security" Law Enforcement Action in 2025" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), and deployed the "Green Sword Grain Security" law enforcement action.
The Notice emphasizes that all localities should focus on key areas such as the quality of agricultural supplies, agricultural product quality and safety, animal and plant quarantine, and livestock and poultry slaughtering, and severely crack down on illegal acts such as manufacturing and selling fake and inferior agricultural supplies, infringement of seed licensing, illegal use of prohibited and restricted drugs, such as harming farmers and endangering food security and agricultural product quality and safety, ensuring the stable and safe supply of grain and important agricultural products, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of farmers, and protecting the "safety on the tip of the tongue" of the people.
The Notice requires that all localities should refine tasks and strengthen responsibilities based on actual conditions, strengthen law enforcement cooperation among departments and regions, improve mechanisms such as information sharing, clue reporting, and linkage response, and realize "one location discovery, multiple places for joint investigation, and traceability investigation and punishment." We must adhere to the concept of "law enforcement for the people and serving the rural areas and agriculture, and thoroughly implement the benchmark system for administrative discretion, strictly regulate administrative inspections involving enterprises in the agricultural field, and continuously optimize law enforcement methods to make agricultural law enforcement both strong and warm.
In the next step, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will strengthen local guidance on the investigation and handling of illegal cases in key areas and the application of laws in difficult cases, and supervise cases involving a wide range of regions, high social attention, and difficult and complex case matters to ensure that the action is implemented and effective.
