On April 1, the "Authoritative Interview with Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Private Economy" broadcasted an exclusive interview with Hu Henghua, deputy secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee and mayor.
Chongqing private enterprises account for 97.8% of the city's total number of enterprises, contributing more than 60% of the city's GDP and more than 90% of the new employment. Hu Henghua said that Chongqing will continue to enrich the supply of policies, services and factors, and continuously enhance the development, innovation and competitiveness of the private economy.
To further promote the development of the private economy, Chongqing has recently introduced several measures to build a highland for the development of the private economy, covering 6 aspects and 27 measures. In view of the factors that private enterprises are concerned about, rights protection, assistance to enterprises to alleviate difficulties, and friendly and clean government-business relations, Chongqing has taken a series of real measures based on actual conditions.
