The notice clearly states that this time, it will continue to support cities in organizing demonstration projects by combining "points, lines and surfaces", carry out digital intelligent transformation demonstrations on "points", carry out digital collaborative transformation demonstrations on "lines", and carry out overall digital transformation demonstrations on industrial clusters and science and technology industrial parks on "lines", accelerate the promotion and application of digital technology, green technology and innovative products, and promote the high-end, intelligent and green development of manufacturing.
The notice requires that the applicant cities should identify about three leading industries in the manufacturing industry as key industries for technological transformation, and encourage the selection of traditional industries that contribute greatly to the growth of the industrial economy and urgently need for transformation and upgrading; coordinate with policies such as equipment renewal in the industrial field, ultra-long-term special treasury bonds, and form a policy synergy; encourage the second batch of applied city implementation plans to connect with the first batch of selected cities implementation plans; the applicant cities should conduct project review and select high-quality projects to be included in the implementation plans, etc.
The pilot work of urban transformation of new technology in manufacturing was launched in 2024, aiming to promote enterprise equipment updates, process upgrades, digital empowerment, and management innovation, promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and provide strong support for accelerating the cultivation of new quality productivity and promoting new industrialization.
