After more than 1,000 days of ingenious craftsmanship, Xiongan Sports Center officially opened on the evening of March 30.
Xiong'an Sports Center is located in the north of the starting area of Xiong'an New District and is one of the landmark buildings in Xiong'an New District. The total area of the project is about 520 acres, and consists of three Class A buildings, a stadium, a stadium and a swimming pool, as well as outdoor sports venues, outdoor fitness trails and other supporting facilities for multiple projects.
"One Scene and Two Halls" is the main body of Xiong'an Sports Center, integrating the geometric shapes of square and radiant shapes with oriental freehand white space. It looks like a "mountain" and looks down on the "seals" like three "landscape seals", engraved on the Xiong'an city scroll in a unique way of oriental aesthetics.
The retractable stand seat system equipped in the gymnasium has a total load capacity of more than 2,800 seats. It quickly switches multiple scene modes through modular combinations to meet different competition and performance needs. There is an air outlet next to each seat to ensure good air circulation in the venue. The auditorium is equipped with a 360° panoramic immersive viewing system, a double-layer 4K LED ring screen, etc.
In addition to the main venue, the south side also specially planned to open up the "1741 Energy Block", from bars to brand hot pot, from creative trendy toys to "escape room", and build a compound scene of "event + consumption + social".
From March 29 to April 1, Xiong'an Sports Center held a series of carnival activities. At that time, not only will Olympic champions and celebrity guests assist and interact with the live audience games, but there will also be the hot live performances of Yushu robots and robot dogs, DeepSeek intelligent live services, as well as a variety of interactive performance activities such as public fitness classes, children's football matches, children's drama festivals, sports theme markets, auto shows, etc.
With the opening of Xiong'an Sports Center, the first important event will also usher in this place - Xiong'an International Women's Basketball Club Invitational. From March 29 to March 31, two WCBA teams, Jiangsu Nangang and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, will present a wonderful peak showdown to the audience in the brand new basketball hall with two European women's basketball teams, Vojvodina and Novi Sad.
