This automated experimental platform can save private enterprises tens of millions of investment in the purchase of experimental equipment, and enterprises only need to pay the usage fee to conduct cutting-edge research. The reporter observed that R&D personnel only need to click on the program on the computer to run it, so that the robotic arms on the functional island can perform experiments in batches to achieve automated unmanned experiments.

After the launch of the appointment service system for major scientific and technological infrastructure of synthetic biology research, brain analysis and brain simulation, more than 80 external users were served. Up to now, Guangming Science City has promoted 26 scientific research institutions, research universities, hospitals, and technology enterprises to include Shenzhen’s major scientific and technological infrastructure and large-scale scientific research instrument sharing platform, launching more than a thousand large-scale scientific research instruments (sets), and accelerating the virtuous cycle of "facilities incubation - enterprise transformation - industrial growth".

In Fujian, another major private economy province, there are 127 industrial innovation alliances led by private enterprises, and 8 provincial innovation laboratories including Mindu Laboratory have incubated more than 300 technology-based enterprises in total. This year, Fujian will also implement more than 2,000 provincial science and technology plan projects, and implement more than 10 provinces' "listing and taking charge" and major science and technology projects, increasing the proportion of private enterprises participating in provincial science and technology projects to more than 60%.

Data shows that the top 500 private enterprises in China have 667,000 valid patents in 2024, an increase of 9.4% year-on-year, achieving nearly double-digit growth. This year, a series of policy measures will also focus on the difficulties and pain points of the private economy.
