The total amount of industrial goods logistics increased by 5.9% year-on-year, of which the demand for logistics related to high-tech manufacturing increased by 9.1% year-on-year. In particular, the demand for related logistics such as robots, industrial control computers and systems, carbon fibers and their composite materials, rare earth magnetic materials, etc. is growing rapidly.
At the same time, policies such as large-scale equipment updates and consumer goods trade-in are being implemented, and the logistics demand for related industries and products has grown rapidly. Logistics demand in industries such as railway transportation equipment manufacturing and urban rail transit equipment manufacturing increased by more than 20% year-on-year. The automobile manufacturing and household power appliance manufacturing industries have achieved double-digit growth. In addition, new business formats such as cross-border e-commerce are developing positively, and the international freight market has achieved rapid growth. From January to February, the cargo and mail transportation volume was 575,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 17.9%.
She Hui, vice president of the China Federation of Logistics and Procurement, said that judging from the logistics operation in the first two months, the beginning showed a characteristic of stable growth and moderate recovery. Industrial goods logistics and consumer logistics still maintain a stable growth trend. Construction is accelerating, and related logistics demand is also increasing. It is reflected that the policy effect is constantly emerging, which plays a good supporting role in logistics operation, including support for demand.
