CCTV News: According to the WeChat official account of the State Administration for International Cooperation and Development, on March 29, Li Ming, spokesperson of the State Administration for International Cooperation and Development, said inquiry that a strong earthquake disaster occurred in Myanmar, causing major casualties and property losses. At the request of the Myanmar government, the Chinese government decided to provide Myanmar with 100 million yuan of emergency humanitarian earthquake relief assistance, and sent two rescue teams to provide urgently needed materials in disaster areas such as tents, blankets, first aid kits, food, and drinking water.
The first rescue team arrived in Yangon on March 29 and will go to the disaster area to carry out on-site rescue in time. Liu Junfeng, deputy director of the National Cooperation Administration, and others went to the airport to see him off.
Previously, the Yunnan Provincial Local Rescue Team arrived in Yangon as soon as possible.
The first batch of aid materials in the Chinese government will be shipped on the 31st. China will also continue to provide assistance depending on the need of Myanmar.
