CCTV News: According to the WeChat official account of the China Earthquake Administration, a magnitude 7.9 earthquake occurred in Myanmar on March 28, causing major casualties and property losses, which attracted widespread attention from the international community. In the face of a huge earthquake disaster, the governments and people of China and Myanmar jointly responded to the relationship between the two countries.
At the request of the Myanmar government, the Chinese government sent a Chinese rescue team to Myanmar to carry out international rescue. On the morning of March 29, the Chinese rescue team took Air China chartered flight from Capital Airport to the disaster area. Four experts from the China Earthquake Administration, Zhang Rui, Wang Tao, Dai Junwu and Lin Xuchuan, participated in the rescue team to provide technical support for the rescue work.
