CCTV News: Recently, 46,000 mu of early rice in Dingnan County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province began to plant seedlings. Machine planting and manual seedlings were put into battle, making a busy spring plowing scene.
In the farmland of Kuimeishan Town, Dingnan County, Ganzhou, the rotary tillator and the transplanter operate alternately. The rotary tillator plows the flat land. After the transplanter passes by, the seedlings are planted neatly into the fields. In the corner plot not far away, farmers are planting rice seedlings by hand.
In order to improve the efficiency of rice planting, this year, Dingnan County has built 9 centralized seedling cultivation bases and implemented centralized intensive seedling cultivation.
According to the Dingnan County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, the local early rice planting area this year is 46,000 mu, with a machine-plugging rate of 54.59%, an increase of nearly 8% over last year. It is expected to be completed by the end of April.
