Guo Jiakun said that no cooperation between the United States and the Philippines should target or harm the interests of third parties, and should not exaggerate the so-called threat, provoke confrontation, and aggravate regional tensions.
I want to emphasize that there has never been any problem with the freedom of navigation and overflight in the South China Sea. The US side has always condoned allies to provoke trouble in the South China Sea; the US side has repeatedly fabricated the false proposition that "China threatens freedom of navigation in the South China Sea"; the US side is still the US side; the US side continues to strengthen military deployment in the region and attempts to undermine regional peace and stability.
The US should abandon the Cold War mentality, stop provoking ideological confrontation, stop provoking troubles in the South China Sea, and sow discord in the region. Do not be a disruptor and the invader in the South China Sea.
We also advise the Philippines not to "rely rely on the United States to make trouble", and not to try to provoke military confrontation.
