CCTV News: Xinhua Forest Farm is one of the 292 state-owned forest farms in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and one of the many forest farms in the "Three Norths" protective forest system. Its predecessor was a "sand sea" covered by sand dunes, desert beaches and saline-alkali land.
The people from the Third Generation Forest Farm have used more than 60 years to successfully "replace" this barren land, and decorated the green miracle that stretched thousands of miles with green.
