From January to June, 33,000 water conservancy projects were implemented across the country, and 515.1 billion yuan was invested in water conservancy construction.The construction of a number of major projects such as the water resources allocation around the Beibu Gulf and the Guxian Water Conservancy Project on the Yellow River has been accelerated.
At the construction site of the follow-up project of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project - the diversion of the Yangtze River to the Han Dynasty, 8 hard rock boring machines were operating simultaneously, and the main water conveyance tunnel was excavated for a total of more than 31 kilometers.

Revolving around the implementation of a new round of 100 billion kilograms of grain production capacity improvement projects, a number of new and modernization projects for large and medium-sized irrigation areas, including the Leizhou Peninsula Irrigation District in Guangdong and the modernization of Anhui's Pishihang Irrigation District, have started construction one after another.From January to June, 25 major water conservancy projects were newly started across the country, including the new Three Gorges Water Transport Channel and water resources allocation in Liaoning and Liaodong Peninsula, 11 more than the same period last year.
At the same time, my country has scientifically laid out the construction of reservoirs, rivers, embankments, and flood storage and detention areas based on river basins, and accelerated the construction of river basin flood control and drainage systems.

The Menghe Shuanghou Reservoir is a major water conservancy project under the comprehensive planning of the Huaihe River Basin. At the project construction site, mechanical equipment and construction personnel are working through multi-point collaborative operations to pour concrete on the main body of the bridgehead and hoisting machine room.
Currently, the 40 backbone transmission and drainage channels planned and constructed by the national water network have been built and 35 are under construction, and 473 of the planned 588 important regulating and storage nodes have been built or are under construction.
