CCTV News: According to the official account of "China Railway", from January to February this year, the national railway sent a total of 622 million tons of goods, a year-on-year increase of 2%, and an average daily loading of 175,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%, providing strong support for the people to spend a warm winter and the stable operation of the national economy.

Since this year, the China Railway Corporation has conscientiously implemented the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference and the deployment requirements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on accelerating the construction of a modern logistics system and reducing logistics costs in the whole society, focusing on serving the national economy and the production and life of the people, carefully organizing cargo transportation, coordinating the use of freight channel capabilities, improving the quality of freight services, and ensuring smooth and efficient railway logistics.

First, the transportation of coal for power generation and heating is strongly guaranteed. Strengthen the coal loading organization in key directions such as Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and other major coal-producing areas to Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Northeast and Southwest regions. From January to February, the national railway sent 301 million tons of coal, of which 232 million tons of electric coal were 232 million tons. The coal storage in railway direct power plants maintained a high level, helping all regions usher in peak winter.

Second, the transportation of key materials for people's livelihood has achieved obvious results. Priority will be given to the guarantee of key national economy and people's livelihood materials and all should be installed. Especially after the Spring Festival, we will increase the efforts to ensure the transportation of grain and spring farming materials, open up green channels, and ensure efficient delivery. In February, the number of grain, chemical fertilizers and pesticides will increase by 33.2% and 2.7% year-on-year respectively.

The third is that the quality of railway logistics services continues to improve. Vigorously develop general logistics contracting services, actively integrate into the enterprise supply chain, and promote the "road to rail" transportation of bulk goods; focus on reducing logistics costs in the whole society, cooperate with 4 shipping companies to carry out "one-order" transportation services for container multimodal transport, further simplify the transportation links, compress transportation time limits, and reduce the entire logistics costs. Cooperate with 9 commercial banks to carry out railway logistics financial services to help customers expand financing channels and reduce financing costs. From January to February, the national railway completed a container transportation volume of 129 million tons, an increase of 14.6% year-on-year.
