CCTV News (News Network): Since the beginning of the year, the construction of new information infrastructure in my country has accelerated, and now it has formed a pattern of comprehensive development of networks, computing power and new technology infrastructure.

In Qinghai, this super-large Wanka green computing power center with a scale of over 2 billion yuan began operation not long ago, marking a breakthrough in the construction of large-scale intelligent computing infrastructure in western my country.
In Xinjiang, an intelligent computing power network that integrates computing power network, video network, and radio and television network is accelerating the construction of the second phase of the project. It is expected to be put into use before the end of this year and will provide data backup services for central and eastern provinces in my country.

The latest data shows that the number of standard racks of computing power centers in use in my country has exceeded 9 million. At present, the total scale of computing power in my country has reached 280 billion floating-point operations per second (EFLOPS), effectively supporting the allocation of computing power resources and the circulation of data elements. In terms of basic networks, more than 20 provinces and cities in my country have successively carried out pilot work on the application of next-generation 10G optical network related technologies.
In addition, new technology facilities such as artificial intelligence and blockchain have also emerged this year. There are nearly 200 generative artificial intelligence service models that have been registered and launched to provide services to the public, with more than 600 million registered users.

In the next step, my country will continue to promote the integrated development of new information infrastructure in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and accelerate the construction of integrated facilities such as the Internet of Vehicles and the urban Internet of Things perception.
