Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers today (11th) showed that from January to February this year, my country's automobile production and sales continued to maintain stable growth, among which the new energy vehicle production and sales volume and export volume market performed outstandingly.
From January to February, my country's automobile production and sales reached 4.553 million and 4.552 million respectively, an increase of 16.2% and 13.1% year-on-year respectively. Among them, the production, sales and exports of new energy vehicles increased by more than 50% year-on-year. From January to February, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.903 million and 1.835 million, respectively, an increase of 52% and 52% year-on-year respectively. The sales of new energy vehicles reached 40.3% of the total sales of new cars. In terms of exports, 282,000 new energy vehicles were exported, an increase of 54.5% year-on-year.
A relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said that after the Spring Festival in February this year, the production and operation activities of enterprises have accelerated, and new product releases and promotional activities have been carried out in a row, and the market vitality has been significantly improved. From January to February, a new round of trade-in policy was further expanded and implemented early, enterprise technology upgrades and product renewal stimulated demand, and automobile production and sales showed steady growth overall. Among them, new energy vehicles performed well, and production and sales continued to grow rapidly. The good start of the automotive industry has laid the foundation for a good start in the first quarter.
