Mao Ning said that the US insisted on using the fentanyl issue as an excuse to impose tariffs on China's products imported to the US twice, and China has repeatedly stated its opposition.
The countermeasures we take are legitimate and necessary measures to safeguard our own rights and interests. If the US insists on damaging China's interests, China will resolutely counter it. If the US really wants to solve the problem, it should resolve its respective concerns with China through consultation on the basis of equality, respect and reciprocity.
