The reporter learned today that the first ISO international standard in the field of ambulances led by my country, "Technical Specifications for Medical Cabins of Negative Pressure Ambulances" was officially released recently.
Negative pressure ambulances are important medical equipment, mainly used for the safe isolation and transportation of infectious diseases, and play an important role in the control of various respiratory infectious diseases. This international standard proposes for the first time the technical requirements that negative pressure ambulance medical cabins should have, including technical indicators and test methods related to sealing and isolation performance, negative pressure performance, ventilation rate, air directional flow, disinfection system functions, filtering devices and disinfection devices of negative pressure systems. The release of this international standard further standardizes the technical indicators of the medical cabin to ensure that the medical cabin can provide more reliable medical services during the transfer of patients, greatly improving the safety, effectiveness and timeliness of patient treatment work in highly contagious environments.
The release of this standard has proposed technical specifications for negative pressure ambulance medical cabins for reference for countries around the world, and will have a positive impact on the global prevention and control of respiratory infectious diseases. Experts from China, France, Italy and other countries participated in the research and formulation of this standard.
