Today (March 10), the third "Committee Channel" of the Third Session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference was held in the Great Hall of the People. He Runsheng, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and vice president of the Macau Neighborhood Association Federation, accepted an interview with a reporter from China Central Radio and Television Station.
He Runsheng introduced that returning to the motherland has brought earth-shaking changes to Macau's economic and social development. As a witness, he deeply felt the new atmosphere of Macau's return to the motherland for 25 years.
6 years ago, at a symposium for residents, He Runsheng met a Macau resident, Sister Chen. After she got married, she moved to Zhongshan and went to work in Zhongshan and Macau every day. At that time, she was very worried about her children's schooling problem. Later, the Zhuhai Municipal Government announced the new neighborhood project in Macau, which can provide 3,800 housing units for Macau residents in Hengqin, as well as Macau schools, health stations, explanation service centers, etc.
Last year, Sister Chen's family moved to the new neighborhood, which was very convenient for children to go to school, their family to see a doctor, or returning to Macau. He Runsheng said that he could hear that Sister Chen's family was very grateful for the efforts of the governments of the two places. It can be said that Sister Chen’s experience is a vivid witness to the sharing of national welfare by Macau residents and a microcosm of the family in Guangdong and Macao in the past 25 years since Macau’s return to the motherland.
Hengqin is a peach blossom land that combines the advantages of the two places. The integrated development of Qin and Macau has proved to the world with facts that "one country, two systems" can work, be done, and be popular.
