Lu Aihui said that the Central Document No. 1 of 2025 clearly proposed to support the stable development of animal husbandry, which clarified the direction for the high-quality development of animal husbandry and greatly stimulated the development confidence of the animal husbandry industry. Lu Aihui believes that the deep integration of big data and artificial intelligence technology can provide a smart brain for animal husbandry decision-making. Through big data, it collects and integrates massive information from the entire industrial chain from breeding to the market, including livestock and poultry growth data, epidemic trends, market supply and demand relationships and price fluctuations, etc., after in-depth exploration and analysis of artificial intelligence algorithms, it can be transformed into forward-looking and guiding decision-making basis.
Lu Aihui suggested that a special scientific research fund be established, scientific research institutions and enterprises should be encouraged to carry out industry-university-research cooperation, and focus on the research and development of key intelligent technologies in animal husbandry, such as livestock and poultry precision breeding sensors, intelligent breeding management systems, and intelligent diagnosis technology for livestock and poultry diseases. Build a big data platform for animal husbandry, integrate various data such as breeding, market, epidemics, etc., break the data silos, realize data sharing, provide farmers with market forecasting, breeding decision-making and other services, and enhance the market competitiveness and risk resistance of animal husbandry. Build a smart animal husbandry demonstration base to showcase the application results of new technologies in breeding, management, epidemic prevention and control and other aspects. Establish and improve relevant standards and specifications for smart animal husbandry, strengthen supervision of the quality and safety of livestock products, and ensure the healthy and orderly development of smart animal husbandry.
