To rejuvenate the nation, the countryside must be rejuvenated. The General Secretary is concerned about rural revitalization in all respects, achieving common prosperity for all people, and allowing the people to live a good life. On March 5, 2024, when the General Secretary participated in the deliberation of the Jiangsu delegation of the 14th National People's Congress, Wu Huifang, Party Secretary of Yonglian Village, Nanfeng Town, Zhangjiagang City, spoke after the speech, General Secretary Xi Jinping praised: "You are the pioneers in the path of rural revitalization of common prosperity, and you must walk out this path. We must continue to promote common prosperity and take the path of Chinese-style modernization."

In 2024, 832 poverty-stricken counties cultivated and formed dominant industries, with a total output value of more than 1.7 trillion yuan, and nearly three-quarters of the poverty-stricken population established an interest linkage mechanism with new agricultural operators. The number of people employed by laborers who have been lifted out of poverty has been 33.05 million, which has been stable at more than 30 million for four consecutive years. The per capita disposable income of rural residents was 23,119 yuan, an increase of 6.3% over the previous year. A new answer was delivered to continue to consolidate and expand the results of poverty alleviation, coordinate the promotion of new urbanization and comprehensive rural revitalization, and promote urban-rural integrated development.
