Recently, the company has received multiple reports from citizens that some criminals pretended to be a staff member of MTR (Shenzhen) by phone, lied that citizens had to accept punishment for illegal acts, and then asked citizens to contact their designated so-called "police personnel".
The company stated that it has never and will not inform citizens of illegal acts or requested punishment by telephone. Notices and information related to subway operations will be published through the official channels of MTR (Shenzhen) Company (website, Weibo, WeChat public account);
I strongly condemn the act of impersonating staff of MTR (Shenzhen) Company for fraud, and have reported the case to the public security organs and will actively cooperate with the public security organs to crack down on such illegal and criminal activities in accordance with the law. If citizens receive such suspicious calls, please be vigilant and do not believe it easily. Please report the case to the local public security organs.
