The Third Session of the 14th National People's Congress held a press conference in the Great Hall of the People today (March 4). Congress spokesperson Lou Qinjian answered questions from Chinese and foreign reporters on the agenda of the conference and the work of the National People's Congress.
Lou Qinjian introduced that the draft amendment to the Representative Law submitted to this conference for deliberation will implement the important concept of people's democracy throughout the process, further expand and deepen the "two ties" system and mechanism, and support and guarantee that representatives will serve as a bridge between the Party and the state and the people.
