CCTV News: According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, in 2025, China's manned space engineering will steadily promote the two major tasks of space station application and development and manned lunar exploration, and make greater contributions to promoting the construction of a strong country in science and technology and a strong country in aerospace. At present, China's space station is operating in orbit and has good performance in its benefits. The development and construction of various tasks of the manned lunar exploration project's lunar landing phase is progressing steadily as planned.

Since the completion of the space station, the entire project has closely coordinated, and has organized and completed 4 manned flights, 3 cargo supply, and 4 spacecraft return missions. Five astronauts and 15 people have stayed in orbit for a long time. A total of 11 astronauts have been discharged and multiple applied payloads have been discharged, and multiple out-of-cabin maintenance tasks have been carried out, setting a new world record for the duration of astronauts' single out-of-cabin activity, completing the selection of the fourth batch of preparatory astronauts including 2 Hong Kong and Macao payload experts, selecting the best and starting the development of the low-cost cargo transportation system, and the release of the "China Space Station Scientific Research and Application Progress Report" (2024) and other work.

In 2025, the project planned two manned flight missions and one cargo spacecraft supply mission. The astronaut crew that performed two manned flight missions has been selected and is carrying out related training. At present, China's space station has implemented more than 180 space science research and application projects in orbit, involving space life sciences and human body research, microgravity physics and new space technologies, and has achieved many pioneering results.

Recently, the China Manned Space Engineering Office and the Pakistani Space and High-level Atmospheric Research Committee officially signed a cooperation agreement in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, opening a new chapter in deepening cooperation between China and Pakistan in the field of manned space, and taking the first step in China's selection and training of foreign astronauts to participate in the Chinese space station flight mission. According to the plan, both sides will use about one year to complete the selection work, and Pakistani astronauts will receive all-round systematic training in China. According to the flight mission planning and arrangements of China's space station, Pakistani astronauts and Chinese astronauts will be arranged to enter the Chinese space station together with Chinese astronauts to perform short-term flight missions in the next few years.

At the same time, aiming at the goal of achieving the first Chinese landing on the moon by 2030, the development and construction of the lunar landing phase mission of the manned lunar exploration project has been steadily advancing as planned. At present, major flight products such as the Long March 10 carrier rocket, Mengzhou manned spacecraft, Lunyue Moon Surface Lander, Wangyu Moon Landing Suit, and Exploration Manned Moon Rover are in the preliminary development stage and have made phased progress. The test and launch facilities and equipment related to the lunar landing mission of the Wenchang Launch Field are under development and construction in an orderly manner. The overall plan has been completed in the ground systems such as measurement and control communications, landing fields, and various projects will be carried out successively. Subsequently, major flight products such as ships, weapons, arrows, and suits will focus on carrying out various large-scale tests for preliminary samples. In order to effectively improve the quality and efficiency of research and development work, the moon landing task will continue to promote the transformation of digital research and development of engineering.

Since the establishment and implementation of China's manned spacecraft project, it has always adhered to the principle of "peaceful use, equality and mutual benefit, and common development", focused on sharing China's development achievements for all mankind, actively opened up opportunities for cooperation in China's space stations, and actively contributed to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. China and Pakistan signed a cooperation agreement on the selection and training of astronauts, providing guidance and examples for more developing countries to participate in international manned space cooperation, which is conducive to inspiring more countries to work together to explore the mysteries of the universe and jointly write a new chapter on the road to benefit all mankind.
