The cute cat, the flying birds, and the peaceful and rich peony flowers are unveiled in the spring March, "Miaoxi Lingtong II - Ju Jianwei Painting Exhibition" appeared in the Rongbaozhai Contemporary Art Museum in Beijing.

This exhibition continues the theme of "wonderful and versatile". More than 40 exhibition works cover subjects such as characters, flowers and birds, animals, etc., including two masterpieces and tiny letters, including "Fish and Algae Picture", "Warm Spring Picture", and "Peace and Rich Picture".

Ju Jianwei has been engaged in the copying of ancient calligraphy and paintings and research on techniques at the Palace Museum for 14 years. In his long-term copying and creative practice, he has always adhered to the ultimate pursuit of brush and ink, and his paintings strive to present a unique modern feeling while maintaining the traditional charm.

Ju Jianwei, leader of the calligraphy and painting copying group of the Palace Museum, and associate researcher: In fact, my picture construction originates more from the aesthetics of Chinese calligraphy and painting, and uses more of a form of expression of pure ink and wash. This artistic form of black and white, as well as the transition of black and white, is actually more like the yin and yang relationship in traditional philosophy. Through the existence of the opposite and unity of yin and yang, we build an artistic state that is both contradictory but can exist at the same time. This artistic state is what I pursue in actual creation or in creative practice.
