My name is Fan Dongwei, and I am the vice principal of Shanxian No. 1 Middle School and head coach of the volleyball team. Do you dare to imagine that this middle school volleyball team from the county town can actually win the national championship!

This is our wall of honor, which was built in 2011. At first I thought this wall of honor was particularly big, but now all the honors can no longer be released. During this period, we won a total of 16 provincial championships and 2 national championships. Our students also have more than 200 students from 7 in 2004 to now.

Many people ask me what is the secret to counterattack? I think it's just two words - love. 21 years ago, on the first day of my employment, I submitted a report to the school. I wanted to build a strong volleyball team and make volleyball the starting point for children to change their destiny.

You must have never thought that the sunny and cheerful Guodong basically didn't speak when he first came. After joining the volleyball team, he gradually found his goal and was also named a good boy in the new era of Shandong Province last year. Among the students I teach, a total of 128 people have been admitted to universities, and nearly half of them have been admitted to nationally renowned colleges and universities. In addition to college, we also have excellent players sent to the provincial and national teams.

In 2023, I have a new identity - a National People's Congress representative. My love is not just about forming teams and winning gold medals. I also hope that physical exercise can promote the physical and mental development of more children.

In the past year, I have participated in the National People's Congress' special surveys four times, visited more than 20 grassroots schools and community sports venues, and witnessed that campus physical education classes have gone from "being important when it comes to being important, doing secondary when it comes to being busy, and not being busy."

At this year's Two Sessions, I submitted suggestions on the healthy physical and mental development of primary and secondary school students. Organically integrate physical education classes with national defense education.
