CCTV news: According to the "Shishuoxinyu" public account, on November 6, the State Administration for Market Regulation held the fourth batch of national trade secret protection innovation pilot on-site promotion meeting and the first batch of trade secret protection innovation pilot experience promotion meeting in Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and deployed the fourth batch of national trade secret protection innovation pilot work.

Since the launch of the national trade secret protection innovation pilot work in 2022, the State Administration for Market Regulation has successively identified 4 batches of 61 pilot areas to promote the continuous deepening of trade secret protection from "promoting social awareness" to "effective service development" and from "unilateral innovation" to "systemic governance". Based on actual reform exploration, each pilot area has formed more than 450 institutional achievements, covering key areas such as the Internet, integrated circuits, biomedicine, and artificial intelligence. The commercial secret protection system has gradually been improved.

In response to the focus of trade secret infringement, market regulatory authorities across the country continue to increase administrative law enforcement. In the first three quarters of 2026, a total of 108 cases of trade secret infringement were investigated and handled nationwide, and law enforcement effectiveness continues to improve.

Next, the fourth batch of innovation pilot areas will focus on deepening the protection rules of key industries, solving the practical problems of "difficult to prove and identify", serving enterprises to go overseas, improving the quality and efficiency of law enforcement and other key tasks to advance with high standards, and promote the pilot from "expanding coverage" to "solving problems". The meeting simultaneously promoted the mature experience of the first batch of pilots, continued to amplify the radiating effect from point to area, and accelerated the construction of a multi-party collaborative trade secret protection pattern to provide strong support for stimulating R&D innovation, maintaining fair competition, and empowering the development of new productive forces.
