Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, November 4th: In order to recruit outstanding talents from society to serve the military construction, the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission has recently planned to launch an open recruitment process for military civilian personnel in 2027.

Candidates can log in to the Military Talent Network to register online from 8:00 on November 5, 2026 to 18:00 on November 10. The uniform written examination for the whole army is planned to be held simultaneously in all municipalities, provincial capitals, autonomous region capitals and some other cities across the country on December 13, 2026. According to the plan, the approval and recruitment process will begin in May 2027. This open recruitment is aimed at achieving the centenary goal of the founding of the army as scheduled, promoting high-quality development of the civilian workforce, strictly controlling political barriers, establishing a merit-based orientation, adhering to fairness and justice, improving systems and mechanisms, and continuously improving recruitment efficiency. The civilian personnel department of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission will work with relevant departments to maintain good examination order and create a fair, standardized and orderly examination environment.
