Quanzhou is the starting point of the ancient Maritime Silk Road. In 2021, "Quanzhou: China's World Marine Trade Center in the Song and Yuan Dynasties" was included in the World Heritage List.Intangible cultural heritage resources such as hairpin flowers, Dehua white porcelain, Hui'an stone carvings, and Hui women's clothing have long been the cultural foundation of this city.In recent years, the Quanzhou Women's Federation, based on this resource endowment, has continued to promote the combination of intangible inheritance protection and women's employment and income increase, transforming "fingertip skills" into a "fingertip economy."

Changpu Village is located in Quanzhou Bay and is the core site of the folk custom of Cangpu women. After Hairpin Wai became popular on the Internet, this village, which originally relied on fishing for a living, transformed into a cultural and tourism destination. The Quanzhou City and County Women's Federation has embedded women's entrepreneurship and employment in the cultural tourism industry chain, meeting demand and organizing training in clothing and makeup manufacturing, photography, B&B catering, and interpretation services.Currently, women account for 90% of the cultural tourism employees, service recipients, and cultural tourism income in Xianpu. In 2025, the village will receive more than 9.3 million tourists, tourism revenue will exceed 2 billion yuan, and the per capita income of villagers will more than double compared with before.Focusing on hairpins, makeup, photography, live broadcasting, etc., the human resources and social security, business and other departments jointly carried out more than 60 skills training sessions, covering more than 3,700 women. The women's group of the Folk Culture Reserve and the Hairpin Women Volunteer Team were successively established, and women transformed from intangible cultural heritage watchmen to inheritors and operators.

In contrast to the splendor of Xunpu, the story of Dehua is quiet and long.Dehua is the "Porcelain Capital of the World", and Dehua white porcelain is famous for its "Chinese White".The Quanzhou City and County Women's Federation teamed up with human resources agencies, courts and other departments to build the province's first county-level integrated labor rights protection base for female workers. It relied on financial products such as "Qiaowu Loan" to solve the problem of women's entrepreneurial capital. It also established a women's vocational skills training base in conjunction with colleges and universities, and launched 27 special training sessions on ceramic painting and AI-enabled design, training more than 3,500 women.Currently, female arts and crafts masters and representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage account for nearly one-third in the field of white porcelain in Dehua.Dehua County held the "Chinese White·Dehua Porcelain" women's and children's theme exhibition at the China Women's and Children's Museum, and was selected as a supporting event for the Global Women's Summit; the works of 28 female ceramic artists participated in the National Female Ceramics Exhibition. In terms of organizational coverage, Dehua has established a total of 12 women's federations in the ceramic industry chain and women's federations in e-commerce, logistics and other industry associations. The coverage rate of women's federations in the new economic field has reached more than 96%.

In Hui'an, long-standing gender barriers in the carving industry have also been gradually broken down. The county established the Women's Federation of the Carving Art Industry and established a three-dimensional training mechanism of "master apprenticeship + college training + corporate training". It has cultivated 150 certified research instructors, of which more than 70% are women.Special organizations such as the Huinv Haiyun Leisure Street Women's Group connect women scattered in various aspects of inheritance, entrepreneurship, and research.

Deeper changes have occurred in the territory of cultural communication. In recent years, the female image of Xunpu has appeared in more than 60 major domestic and foreign events such as China International Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and the Miss Tourism World Global Finals. The related online topics have exceeded 30 billion times; Hui'an female clothing has appeared at the Paris Fashion Show in France.A group of female leaders came to the front desk, including Xu Lizhi, a post-90s porcelain artist, Li Liying, the inheritor of Huinv costumes, Jiang Linglan, the carving master, and Lin Wanwan, the inheritor of the stone lion "hibiscus hairpin".

The Quanzhou Women's Federation coordinates with the Party Committee and the government to develop the cultural tourism economy, promote the deployment of rural revitalization, focus on women's actual needs in skills, funds, and platforms, and transform cultural resources into endogenous driving force for women's development; encourage female inheritors to integrate modern aesthetics and develop diversified products while maintaining the essence of tradition, and promote the in-depth integration of intangible cultural heritage with tourism, cultural creativity, and e-commerce.Women participate in the construction of "beautiful courtyards" and bring rural style with their family style. Intangible cultural heritage has also become a content of grassroots governance and a better life.Women have income, industries have developed, and culture has been passed on.(Contributed by Quanzhou Women’s Federation)
