The latest data shows that from January to September this year, my country's new energy vehicle marketproduced and sold 12.483 million vehicles and 12.472 million vehicles respectively, a year-on-year increase of 11% and 11.1% respectively. New energy vehicle sales accounted for 53.6% of the total new automobile sales.
In the international market, from January to September this year, 4.006 million new energy vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 1.3 times.
Liu Yan, deputy secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, said that the global competitiveness of Chinese automobiles has shifted from cost-effectiveness to system competitiveness with new energy as the core.This will not only inject new momentum into global green and low-carbon development, but also gain new long-term competitive advantages for Chinese automobiles.
Since June this year, my country's automobile exports have exceeded 1 million units for four consecutive months, of which new energy vehicle exports have accounted for more than 50% for four consecutive months.
The relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers stated that the "15th Five-Year Plan" for the Development of the Intelligent and Connected New Energy Vehicle Industry was officially released recently, providing top-level guidance for the development of the intelligent and connected automobile industry during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.The plan focuses on key core technology research, cross-border integration of Che-Road and Cloud, optimization of industrial structure, improvement of industry governance and international layout, which will promote the industry's shift from scale growth to quality improvement and help Chinese brands further enhance their global competitiveness.
