According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, from January to August 2026, my country's industry-wide overseas direct investment was 778.47 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.6% (USD 113.39 billion in US dollars, an increase of 3.9%).Among them, Chinese domestic investors made non-financial direct investments in 8,424 overseas companies in 148 countries and regions around the world, with a cumulative investment of 595.06 billion yuan, a decrease of 14.4% (USD 86.68 billion in US dollars, a decrease of 10.6%).
