Li Jiachao said that the formulation of the first five-year plan (2026-2030) for the economic and social development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region must be based on Hong Kong's actual situation, formulate Hong Kong's medium and long-term development strategy, clarify the development direction, task objectives, strategic priorities and implementation paths, as well as operational and effective policy measures and major projects with Hong Kong characteristics.Through the five-year plan, the development direction will be clearer, resource allocation will be more effective, social expectations will be more stable, the well-being of citizens and the interests of investors from all over the world will be more fully protected, and a more open, more inclusive, freer, more prosperous and safer Hong Kong will be built.
