From an industrial perspective, production is rising steadily.In May, the added value of industries above designated size nationwide increased by 4.5% year-on-year, 0.4 percentage points faster than the previous month, and the industrial structure was transforming towards high-end, intelligent, green and integrated industries.From January to May, high-tech manufacturing contributed nearly 40% of industrial growth, and the overall competitiveness of the industry accelerated.

From the perspective of the service industry, in May, the national service industry production index increased by 4.4% year-on-year, and the growth rate accelerated from the previous month. Emerging service industries such as information transmission, software and information technology have good growth momentum.

The consumer market has been upgraded.From January to May, service retail sales increased by 5.4%, service consumption demand accelerated, and online consumption, digital consumption, and green consumption became new growth points.

The employment situation is generally stable.In May, the national urban surveyed unemployment rate was 5.1%, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the previous month.
