CCTV News: On April 21, the State Administration for Market Regulation released data showing that in the first quarter, there were 1.979 million new private enterprises nationwide, an increase of 7.1% year-on-year, exceeding the average growth rate in the past three years. As of the end of March, there were more than 57 million registered private enterprises nationwide, accounting for 92.3% of the total number of enterprises. The development of private enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households in my country shows strong resilience.

New quality productivity has become a new highlight of the development of private enterprises. In the first quarter, 836,000 new economic private enterprises were established nationwide, accounting for more than 40% of the total number of newly established private enterprises during the same period, an increase of 1.4% year-on-year. Among them, Internet and modern information technology service companies grew the fastest, reaching 18.0%. There are 274,000 new private enterprises in the "digital economy", accounting for 13.9% of the total number of newly established private enterprises, among which the "digital product service industry" has the fastest growth rate, almost 2.5 times that of last year. As of the end of March, my country had a total of 22.678 million private enterprises in the "four new" economy, becoming an important driving force for promoting high-quality economic development.

Private enterprises show strong innovation vitality. Through digital transformation, green and low-carbon transformation and global layout, private enterprises continue to improve their core competitiveness. In the first quarter, 94,000 new private enterprises were established in the new generation of information technology industry, 46,000 new high-end equipment manufacturing industry, 254,000 new new artificial intelligence software research and development, and more than 10,000 new new new silver economy. In addition, private enterprises have shown abundant vitality in the fields of civil aviation, quantum information, humanoid robots, etc.

Individual industrial and commercial households show abundant endogenous motivation. In the first quarter, 3.949 million new individual industrial and commercial households were established nationwide. Among them, the number of newly established households in the first, second and third industries is 263,000, 193,000 and 3.493,000 respectively. As of the end of March, the number of individual industrial and commercial households in the tertiary industry reached 111 million, accounting for nearly 90% of the total number of individual industrial and commercial households.

The results of precise assistance for individual industrial and commercial households are highlighted. As of the end of the first quarter, various places have completed the classification and judgment of 64.382 million "survival" individual industrial and commercial households, accounting for 83.1%; 10.041 million "growth" individual industrial and commercial households, accounting for 13.0%; 3.042 million "development" individual industrial and commercial households, accounting for 3.9%. 142,000 "famous, special, and new" individual industrial and commercial households have been recognized nationwide. The comprehensive promotion of classification and precise assistance has provided strong support for promoting the targeted and precise implementation of assistance policies, and injecting new impetus into the gradient growth of individual industrial and commercial households.

The market supervision department will implement the national policies and measures to promote the development of the private economy, resolutely break down various obstacles to the equal use of production factors in accordance with the law and fair participation in market competition, vigorously protect intellectual property rights, strengthen administrative law enforcement supervision, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of private enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households in accordance with the law, and create a better business environment for the high-quality development of the private economy.
