CCTV News: The State Administration for Market Regulation released data on April 21. In the first quarter of 2025, 6.063 million new business entities were established nationwide. Among them, 2.1 million new enterprises were established, 3.949 million new individual industrial and commercial households were established, and 14,000 new farmers' professional cooperatives were established. Various business entities showed a steady growth momentum.


Data shows that private and foreign-funded enterprises are developing well. In the first quarter, newly established private enterprises increased by 7.1% year-on-year, and newly established foreign-invested enterprises increased by 4.3% year-on-year. The development trend of enterprises of various ownerships is good, indicating that market expectations continue to improve and corporate investment confidence is effectively improved.


The industrial structure is further optimized. In the first quarter, 322,000 new operating entities were established in the primary industry, 468,000 new operating units were established in the secondary industry, and 5.273,000 new operating units were established in the tertiary industry. As of the end of March, there were 24.918 million registered "four new" economic enterprises nationwide, an increase of 6.2% year-on-year, accounting for 40.1% of the total number of enterprises.
