CCTV News: On April 18, China Resource Recycling Group announced the establishment of 9 subsidiaries including China Resource Recycling Group Green Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. and China Resource Recycling Group Battery Co., Ltd.
A relevant person in charge of China Resources and Environmental Protection Group said that the establishment of these 9 new companies will accelerate the creation of a national and functional resource recycling platform, accelerate the improvement of a green, low-carbon circular development economic system, comprehensively promote the construction of a beautiful China, and provide strong strategic support for serving economic and social development.
At the same time, China Resources and Environmental Protection Group also signed strategic cooperation agreements and custody agreements with eight units including State Power Investment Corporation and China Automobile Center. Make full use of the resource advantages of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone and cooperate to build a demonstration base for green, low-carbon circular economy in China's resource-environmental Tianjin, which is planned to be put into operation in October 2025.
In the future, China Resources and Environmental Protection Group will continue to build a number of leading enterprises in sub-sectors such as power batteries, new energy devices, non-ferrous metals, and plastic recycling, give full play to the role of the "national team" of resource recycling, establish an important strategic material recycling and reserve system, and ensure resource safety.
