The 2025 World Games will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan from August 7 to August 17. Today, the "Chengdu World Yun" aircraft tailor-made by the World Games took off its maiden flight from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.
At 8:55 am, the first Sichuan Airlines A330 "Chengdu World Yun" theme painted aircraft set sail from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and flew to Wuxi, Jiangsu. Starting from now on, the "Chengdu World Transportation" will carry out flight missions at 39 domestic and 18 international navigation points, achieving full coverage of international and domestic mainstream routes departing from Chengdu.
According to reports, the body of the "Chengdu World Yunhao" takes the main vision of the World Yunhao as the core design concept, and sprays the "Shubao" and "Jinzai" dual mascots, showing the image of Chengdu's ecological livable, warm and friendly city. At the same time, the design was deepened according to the "World Games Standard Visual Elements", with Chinese red, golden sand yellow, park green, panda black, snow-capped white as the main colors, highlighting the traditional Chinese elements and Chengdu characteristics, demonstrating the values of "unity, inclusiveness, and diversity", and further conveying the spirit of the World Games and the Chengdu style.
It is understood that the World Games, the Olympics and the Universiades are known as the three major comprehensive competitions in the world, and are the highest-level international comprehensive sports meetings in non-Olympic events. This is also the first time that the World Games are held in mainland China. It is expected to attract more than 5,000 contestants from more than 170 countries and regions to participate, creating the highest regional span and diversity of participating subjects in the 38-year history of the event. The conference takes "green, sharing, openness and integrity" as its concept, and is an important carrier for promoting the diversification of global sports, cultural integration and sustainable development.
