At the digital and intelligent rice demonstration base in Pengshan District, Meishan City, the automated seedling cultivation assembly line is operating efficiently. Under the control of the digital system, the processes such as partitioning, soil covering, and sowing are closely connected. The entire process is operated by three staff members. 2,400 plates of seedlings can be completed per hour, with an average daily sowing volume of more than 20,000 plates, which can meet the seedling needs of 1,000 acres of fields.
In the glass greenhouse next to it, a circular intelligent seedling breeder is running. A plate of seedlings sit on a 5-meter-high seedling breeder, taking turns receiving light and water nutrient replenishment. Advanced temperature and humidity control systems make the seedling growth environment more stable and shorten the time.
