According to the National Medical Insurance Administration, in 2025, the National Medical Insurance Administration actively and steadily promotes instant settlement of medical insurance and designated medical institutions. As of March 31, 24 provinces across the country have implemented instant settlement of medical insurance funds, covering 246,700 designated medical institutions, and allocated 165.7 billion yuan.
· Among them, there were 104,700 designated medical institutions, with a allocation of 157.4 billion yuan;
· There were 142,000 designated pharmacies, with a allocation of 8.3 billion yuan.
In addition, local governments will jointly promote instant settlement and fund prepayment, and in 2025, the basic medical insurance fund will be prepaid 72.3 billion yuan.
